As our college semesters finally come to an end, Phil and I are making incredible strides towards the big day. You thought weddings were stressful? Try 17 credits with multiple part-time jobs. But I’m alm0st there. Next week I will finish my undergraduate coursework, and then all I’ll have to do is write my thesis in the summer. Phil will finish his master’s thesis next year, and then it’s off to grad school for me….and him too kind of.
Although the wedding date was decided a long time ago, the hustle and bustle of college classes has not allowed any time for blogging! But here we are again…and with only a mere 67 days remaining.
So what’s new? The date is OFFICIALLY June 25th, 2010, at 6pm. The ceremony will be followed by a reception which I’m getting excited about decorating for. Then, we’ll spend three days recovering from all of the busyness in Bay City….but that’s not all! Thanks to some absolutely wonderful friends, our real honeymoon will be in Massachusetts. I can’t wait!!
Everything else is moving along quite nicely. We’ve filled out our rental application and will be moving into our new place on May 15th. We thought that everything would take a lot longer, but we were so excited about the apartment complex, we wanted to take advantage of all of their great deals.
Other than that, we’re trying to wrap up our registry as soon as possible. Then, there’s tuxes to rent, decorations to design, invitations to make, pre-marital counseling to finish…and so much more. But I have to say that I’m so much less stressed than I was a few months ago. Thing are really falling into place, and I can’t thank God enough for that.
Stay tuned for more updates soon!
