A New Year

A few weeks ago, Phil and I celebrated our first anniversary.  As you can probably tell by the lack of posts, the following weeks have kept us very busy.  It’s unbelievable that it has been a year though.  We’ve had a great time, and we’re still enjoying the honeymoon.

This is a summarizing photo of our celebration:

In just a couple of days, I’m going to be 23-years-old.  In a lot of ways, this three-week period is my “new year.”  We celebrate our marriage, and I’m reminded of the things that have happened in my life that have brought me to where I am today.  It feels like a fresh start.  By now, I’ve miserably failed in my New Year’s Resolutions, so I get the chance to have another go at it.  I also feel old and young all at the same time.

Here’s to another great year of marriage, another great year of life, and a happy new year to me!
